Mining Directories of Minnesota

The University of Minnesota Mineral Resources Research Center annually produced reports of mining activity within the state. The Iron Range Research Center has a collection of reports from 1921 to present day. The reports list active and inactive mine properties, production statistics and mine operators. Skillings Mining Review currently publishes the annual Mining Directory. The publication includes the names of all the mines active and inactive along with maps and statistical information.
